Paul Klee - Exploring abstraction and conveying emotion through colour
Project: Abstraction - Paul Klee and rectangles
Using Paul Klee for inspiration we will explore painting abstract images using basic building blocks of rectangles, as can be found in Klee's earlier work. We will look at methods of mixing subtle shades of colour and how to convey emotion through the use of colour & tone. We will also explore how to create a sense of depth and space through combinations of colour and tone.
