Liquin - A gel medium that speeds the drying time of oil paint
1. Can be used as a glaze medium - Add small amounts of paint to larger proportion of liquin (1 part paint to 10 parts liquin)
2. Can be used to thin and speed up the drying time of paint 1 part liquin to 2 or 3 parts oil paint. The paint will dry faster but still allow a few days as opposed to a week for the paint to dry
Linseed Oil/Painting medium
Use for glazing and increasing the flow of paint.
Use sparingly and apply very thin layers of oil with small amounts of paint for a glaze. Using thicker layers can lead to very long drying times and dripping.
To increase the flow of paint just add a small amount of oil to the paint (1 part oil to 4 parts paint)
