This has been long in the making, after much reworking, and washing under the tap, and more reworking followed by some quite serious trimming, this final image has resulted.

The painting uses watercolour, indian ink, gold leaf, and a range of magicolor inks. The magicolor inks are fabulous, and have a great intensity of colour and transparency, and although most are transparent three of the lighter colours are very opaque enabling me to bring some light back into this image that had become very dark.
